Program Coordinator

PROGRAM COORDINATOR INTERN GLAMA

SCOPE:

This position will support and facilitate monthly GLAMA community
engagement programming (slow-jam, pub-jam, Village Stage, petting zoo, high
school jam), by making sure the events are staffed, equipped, and successfully
presented. Will work with experienced GLAMA activity leaders. After a trial
period, there will be a possibility of continuing in the position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend all GLAMA monthly activities
  • Coordinate GLAMA volunteer involvement for all the activities
  • Provide GLAMA informational announcements and display printed
    materials at all activities
  • Replenish GLAMA printed materials (cards, flyers, stickers, chord charts)as
    needed
  • Bring needed equipment and supplies to the activities (P.A., Zoo box,
    banners, printed materials)
  • Participate in the activities
    Possibly lead activities in the absence of experienced leaders
  • Answer participant questions, encourage new folks to sign up for our
    newsletter
  • Supervise cleanup after activities
  • Store GLAMA equipment and supplies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Over 21 years old
  • College education desirable
  • A history of successful employment
  • Organizational skills
  • Driver’s license
  • Experience with facilitating groups of people
  • Experience with stringed musical instruments

COMPENSATION:

  • Per activity/event, rate TBD (some months have more events
    than others)
